Requirements/Grading: Overview

      

Requirements

For successful completion of this clerkship the student must:

1. Complete all graded components

a. Clinical Evaluations
b. Oral Presentation
c. Oral Exam
d. NBME Exam

2. Successfully complete 80% of Clinical Work Card booklets

3. Participate actively and professionally in patient care activities

4. Demonstrate "Appropriate" Professional Conduct on 80% of the Professional Assessment forms. ( see General Policies and Clinical Evaluation )

Clerkship Grading

Final Grade Composition
Clinical Evaluation: 60%

Oral Examination : 15%

Oral Presentation : 5%
Each student will pick a topic of interest in OB/GYN and prepare a 10-15 minute talk. Please contain your presentation to the allotted time.
NBME Exam: 20%
A passing grade on this exam is required to successfully pass the clerkship. 
Completion of 80% of Clinical Work Cards will also be required for successful completion of the clerkship. The requirements as relates to students final grade are discussed at Orientation.

Demonstration of "Appropriate" Professional Conduct on 80% of the Professional Assessment forms is required for successful completion of the clerkship

Completion of 2 Professional Assessment forms
